The Michaels Organization helps renters stay in affordable housing

The Michaels Organization is helping renters stay in affordable housing and build good credit by partnering with Flex. Depending on the resident's credit, Flex will pay all or some of the rent owed by our residents and residents then pay the rent later in the month to Flex. 

Flex reports that 9 out of 10 renters who apply for flexible rent payments are approved.  Residents at Michaels Communities used Flex to pay over $1M in on-time rent payments in 2023 at all types of apartment communities including military housing, attainable housing, affordable housing, student apartments, and market-rate apartments.

When renters use Flex they get a credit boost and positive rental history. What's more, is that the fees for flexible rent payments are lower than most late fees.
